Don't Shoot What It Looks Like. Shoot What It Feels Like.' This is what photographer, David Alan Harvey said and this is exactly my approach at Littlewing Photos . I want to capture the feeling of what I am looking at: Your feelings. I am based between Gascony, Paris, Le Touquet and London but would love to travel to photograph and photo document you, your family, your pets, your wedding or special event, landscapes that you love, everyday moments, difficult moments - but not just limited to these. WHO I AM Born in England to Irish parents and raised with six brothers and one charming sister, I then went on to have five kids of my own. I’ve lived in the UK, Australia and now SW France with my French husband, three of the kids and two black labradors. I was bought my first DSLR back in 2007 and would pick it up from time to time and sometimes with mild as well as surprising success. I became passionate (aka fixed, crazy, boring, obsessed - thinking about potential images non stop, shouting at my kids ‘Quick! Quick! Get into that light and don’t move!’) with Photographer only within the last few years and am self taught. As well as being a photographer, I am also a singer. In fact, I photographed a wedding and then sang with my band the following day which was great fun. All of these experiences contribute to how I photograph. It also means that I am used to deadlines and stress, chaos, lots of people, noise, different personalities….life and all it throws at you. It has taught me to retain my sense of humour at all times, to keep a cool head but most importantly it has taught me about people. And people are fascinating - to me at any rate. Thanks for visiting the site and please get in touch if you would like to know more about how I can help document you, your event or even just your daily life.
Included within my cost for photographing the day, I will, where possible, meet with you some months before the wedding to get to know you a little better and to take a few photos. Hopefully, I will put you at ease and you will be more relaxed when I start photographing you on the day of your wedding. Where possible, I will visit the venue within 10 days prior to your wedding to fully capture the surrounding area and venue. I will arrive at least 2-3 hours before the ceremony and will begin work immediately capturing all the preparations. Only once the dancing has started and I feel that I have fully captured the party atmosphere will I leave. If the conditions are right, I will try and photograph the venue under starlight. A thirty minute break to eat is the only time that I will disappear during the day. I will take this short break during the meal - however, if you wish me to continue to photograph during the meal then of course I will do it. It is your day. Within 48 hours (and subject to work load), I will have released around 100 images via my website Weddings page. Once I have edited all of the photos (you should expect to receive around 400), I will separate the photos into albums of Bride Preparation , Groom preparation, Ceremony, Cocktails, Meal, Party - or albums relevant to your day - and put them onto a dedicated page. This can be password protected. I will send via email, downloadable links to each album which I will also send to you on a USB key. Equipment - I will bring three cameras (using two with another spare), at least 10 memory cards, tripods, flash equipment, batteries, flash stands etc. Should I bring a second shooter there will be at least another one or two cameras. Every image that I shoot is automatically saved on both cards within the camera. At no extra cost and if availability permits, I will bring a second photographer - Landie Corbett of Green Lotus Photographer.
